Apples and Oranges

What WOULD be lost or gained, if women became the norm as Buddhist monk?
Would Buddha say, "OK, I no longer have anything to recognize with you!!!"

What WOULD be lost, if girls became the norm in Boy Scouting?
Would Baden-Powell say, “OK, I no longer have anything to recognize with you!!”

Apples and oranges. Would the query be satisfied if the Maker created a being that is both male and female? Science supports a religious principle that human being is either a male or female therefore, two distinct species. Both do get along and cohabited since time immemorial however, that does not mean that each species lose its classification. Men are still men and women are still women despite conscious effort by some to artificially modify their inherent genus categorization.

Birds of same feathers flock together. There is nothing wrong in forming a group inhabited with like-minded men or women. The group could be mixed or not, as long as everyone agrees. What is wrong is bending the established and agreed rules to appease the political correctness in favor of the few.

Currently, Freemasonry is being practiced by both genders, separate and mixed. The issue of recognition or who is legal, clandestine, irregular, etc.., is a convoluted topic; this writer at this time won’t hazard a comment. To this day, even the male-only brand or mainstream Freemasonry has issues that is yet to be resolve in order to fully realize the meaning of “Brotherhood of Man under the Fatherhood of God.”

What is important is the practice of the Tenets the Craft, its application not only to Brother Masons but also to the world at large. After all, when the last grain of sand of within the hourglass completed its course, it is our hope that we can explain the spots on our lamb skin apron.
